This is an insanely good value cool-climate Shiraz, hailing from the northern fringes of the Yarra Valley. Perfumed and elegant, with a lovely array of black fruits supported by cracked pepper notes, savoury spice, and fine-grained tannins.

Who is Toolangi?
First planted in 1995 in Dixon’s Creek in the northern Yarra Valley, the vineyard is nestled alongside the Toolangi state forest. Using sustainable principals and holistic viticulture, their wines aim to capture the spirit of their terroir and each vintage.
Bought in 2017 by Rochford owner Helmut Konecsny, Toolangi grapes are handpicked from low yielding vines, naturally fermented, aged in French oak and go to bottle unfined and unfiltered.
