Having been referred to as 'Bin No. 0' for over 100 years, this Shiraz is one of Australia's finest examples of Shiraz.
Taken from Best's own clones from the historic Concongella Vineyard, with vines averaging 40-years old. It sees 18 months in oak, with scrupulous barrel selection producing a wine of intense character and complexity. Rich dark plum and sweet blackberry laden with Szechuan peppercorn and clove spice. Oak influence is pronounced but seamlessly integrated, with some plush tannins building through to a long and complex finish. Drink now or cellar for 5-10 years.
