True to its name, this wine is outgoing and has a knack for bringing friends together.

Fantastic floral aromas, with rose water, lychee, and musk on the nose. This Gewürtz spent five days on skins, adding layers of texture that really pull you in. Candied ginger on the palate partners with a crisp minerality and underlying savoury notes. The fruit for this wine came from the cool region of Henty, allowing flavours to fully develop while retaining a fresh and cleansing acidity.

Who is Latta Wines?

A second-generation wine maker, turning heads in the Australian wine scene. With over 20 vintages under his belt, Owen Latta was thrown into the wine making scene at the ripe age of 15.

In 2007, Owen returned home to his family vineyard, Eastern Peake, which is home to some of the region’s best Pinot Noir & Chardonnay. Still there today, he is head wine maker and is producing more serious wines under this label.

Latta, is a more complex and experimental range of skin fermented white wines, rose and red wines. The grape sourced from vineyards run by old family friends and relatives in the surrounding area. All wines are made with zero additions (e.g. Sulphur) and are a fine example of fun, pure and precise wines. Always a pleasure and an experience to try!
