The fruit undergoes full carbonic maceration for nine days as whole bunches before spending six months maturing in tank. The result is light, bright, and brimming with red forestal fruits, fresh acidity, some granitic minerality and just a smidge of chalky tannin. Easy-drinking park wine!

The Coup de Foudre is sourced from a two hectare plot of 50-70-year-old vines on granitic soil. All that, along with Monsieur Bertrand's talent, translates to dark cherry and plum, riper fruits. There's also a twist of blood orange and a little twang of perky granitic acidity accompanied by chalky tannin. C'est magnifique!
