Think aromatic red berries, currants and fruits that are light on their feet but threaded with a contemplative amount of tannin. Our staff and regulars love it, and despite bringing in pallets of bottles, and being the only stockist in Australia, we can’t get enough.

Piron Beaujolais Les Cadoles 2023

Ripe currants and earthy spices. Things feel ripe here, but never too dense, it’s easy-drinking French red. La Buvette has to go well with bavette (flank steak) right? Boil your spuds that night/morning before the meal for extra crunch and deliciousness, this is wine for tumblers, and not the goose neck kind. Plays well out of the fridge thanks to all the juicy notes.
