Concentrated and complex, the base for this cuvée comes from the 2018 vintage and is blended with a reserve solera kept since 1986. Bursting with orchard fruit and bread on the nose; on the palate, it's elegantly textural, with a delectable mousse, lively acidity and a saline finish. Adrien's intention with this cuvée was to represent the main villages he works with, using a blend of Chardonnay from Sézanne, Pinot Noir from Avenay Val d'Or and old vine Pinot Meunier from Cuis.

Having been transfixed by the distinctive features of the region's wines, the Belgian native decided to lease a few vineyards on Etna's volcanic slopes, and eventually purchased his first plot there in 2001. Cornelissen has since become a hugely influential winemaker in the region, working to a strict minimal intervention philosophy in both the vineyard and winery. Both red and white wines are made with traditional Sicilian varieties which undergo lengthy macerations on skins, before being bottled without filtration or sulphur additions A fifty/fifty blend of Carricante and Grecanico Dorato, an absolute standout (as is to be expected)! Complex and elegant, this has notes of ginger, ripe yellow fruit, and a lovely herbal character.

On the site of a former hippy commune, siblings Jasper and Sophie Button farm three and a half hectares of organically managed vines in the heart of the Adelaide Hills. Having grown up in a tight-knit winemaking community, the pair were exposed to all things wine-related but showed initial reluctance to follow in the footsteps of their grape-growing parents. 100% Nebbiolo rose, that was hand harvested and after fermentation was left on lees for 11 months. This sits somewhere close to the Chilled Red side of things, with notes of delicious fresh raspberries, nice sandy tannin and a little rusticity.

This skinsy number comes from three growers in the region for added texture and layers, with each batch fermenting on skins for four weeks in oak, concrete and ceramic before bottling. Floral rose water on the nose leads to a lovely grip on the palate with a mineral drive.

A distinctively orange wine! A small selection of chardonnay grapes from each parcel were added to a rolling ferment, that was pumped over once a day for minimal oxygen exposure, before being left to mature in stainless steel for 11 months.

Handpicked between the 3rd to the 8th of March before being left for 11 months on full lees. Bright yellow stone fruits with a lick of minerality, some mealy richness and a nice acid backbone.
