Decocotion weizenbock may sound sciencey, but it's actually a very old method of brewing beer.
Odd One Out is a decoction weizenbock brewed with under-modified malt (where the grain has been less efficiently malted). It refers to a process called decoction mashing, which produces more complex malt profiles in beers where malt is the dominant flavour profile. Pouring a deep hazy orange, this bock was brewed with pilsner malt and wheat along with a traditional hefe yeast strain to produce classic flavours of chocolate, banana and dried fruits.
