From vines planted in 1973. The wine making process for Underhill is complex with topping, mixed fermentations, air bag pressings and plunging twice a day, but it’s clearly worth it. This is exquisite – full of liquorice root, fennel pollen, and Davidson plum in the glass, which all burst on the palate, alive with energy. Will do perfectly at wine club or over a special family dinner.
