Devilbend Farm Pilsner

Rich with some bready notes happening but more rye than supermarket white. If they’d gotten away with it, Hans and his men would have been drinking stuff like this on the beach in a country with no extradition. I always wondered what happened to ‘Asian Dawn’. I hope they got rid of their bad-guy boss and turned into a peace-seeking cohort. (375ml) 5.4% ABV

Devilbend Farm Dunkles

Devilbend Farm Marzen 375ml

So moreish and effortlessly flavoursome like the Euro bocks that inspired it. Rich with malty goodness that has toffee/coffee flavours and some refreshing herby notes. Yum. (440ml) 6.7% ABV

King River Mabon Doppelbock

Sweet and savoury with just enough smoky flavours to make it almost filling as it refreshes. Don’t worry, it’s still light and flowy, but there’s substance. Apparently, Paddington 2 has a similar vibe. (440ml) 6.1% ABV

King River Rauchbier Marzen

A collaboration with Good Land that uses heritage German Barley. Each can has all the citrus, juniper, honeydew and subtle spice that’ll have you more in love with your couch and movie that’s right in the slot for your mood. (440ml) 4.9% ABV

King River Huekeller Helles

Think of sitting in a backyard, BBQing while happily reminiscing about other times you sat in that backyard BBQing reminiscing. It’s about enjoying your time with cans of bready, lemon maltiness, and not wasting time but sipping between laughs and bites. Yum! (375ml)

## ABOUT LAGER BEER
We may venture off for a while to explore all the splendour and creativity that the beer industry has to offer, but all roads lead back to the humble lager. A deceptively hard style of beer to brew, lager gets its name from the german word ‘lagern’, which means ‘to store’. The reason for this is because lagers are required to go through a longer maturation period, at near-freezing temperatures, in order to obtain that clean, crisp taste that we associate with the beer style. We most often think of lagers as being light in colour, with a mellow flavour and cleansing bitterness, but the world of lagers is just as diverse as ales. From a light, delicate pilsner and helles, right through to a hearty, malt-forward märzen and dunkel, the world of lagers offers endless possibilities!
