ROSÉ & ORANGE WINE

ABOUT ORANGE WINE
It’s textural, it’s aromatic, it’s downright delicious... what are we talking about? Why, skin contact wine of course! Also known as orange wine, it’s a style of wine wherein the grape juice is kept in contact with the grape skins and seeds throughout fermentation (and through to maturation in some cases), allowing for the extended extraction of colour, tannin, and aromatic compounds. This makes for fascinating expressions of many white grapes that would otherwise be immediately pressed off and extracted away from their skins & seeds!
ABOUT ROSÉ WINE
Sometimes, there’s nothing better than a crisp, dry, perfumed rosé. Made from all sorts of grape varieties, and coming from all over the world, rosé is an excellent category of wine! From your classic french rosé, to inventive takes with novel grape varieties, they can be sweet, dry, bright, fresh, textural, light, full-bodied, and finish in every which way. Don’t let the potentially disappointing rosés of your youth put you off - these pink-hued wines are a hell of a time!
