If you, like us, have been chasing that moment of unfettered joy from your first encounter with the wines of Domaine de l’Anglore, then we have just the thing for you. Romain le Bars is a relatively new name in the Rhône Valley, but the future is looking very bright for this talented young vigneron. The link between Romain and the legendary Domaine de l’Anglore is less tenuous than you might think. A native Parisian, Romain first moved to the Rhône Valley in 2012 to work under the tutelage of none other than l’Anglore’s Eric Pfifferling. Working with native Rhône varieties, Romain’s 2020 release emanates the same vibrant energy and minimal interventionist winemaking as that of l’Anglore, though it should be said that this is a winemaker who is very quickly developing their unique style. We can't wait to see what they do next!
