As you’re waiting, the dark cherries/Morello liqueur flavours will be developing alongside hard candy, rose petal and a strip of lean mint. There’s also an arrangement of perfumed, floral accents that elevate the wine for an intensely aromatic finish.

One to put under lock and key for a couple of years at least. These tannins are tight but should loosen as long as you can hold off. This Barolo normale is called "Berri" in 2019 as it is made up mostly from the Berri vineyard that sits in the most western part of Barolo. All that sun exposure has led to a palate of red berry fruit, pencil shavings, dried herbs and white pepper, and a striking aromatic top register. Assolutamente divino!

An excellent Nebbiolo comprised of fruit from five vineyards across the commune of Verduno: Pisapola, Riva Rocca Campasso, Rocche dell’Olmo and Boscatto. There's a forestal quality to this wine, with wild berries, fresh pine needle and earthy spice notes alongside crushed stone minerals, fine acidity and prominent yet velvety tannins.
