Beautiful. That colour is thanks to plenty of time on skins which teases out all the Semillon’s sandalwood, papaya and fennel seed notes. The tannins are papery but present, and there’s some great texture. A good time - serious orange - wine made by some local weirdos.

Alive with sweet, mixed berries and a sprinkling of herbs. Local Weirdos are always entertaining. We have some great memories – stares into the distance fondly – ‘ahhhh.’ Anyway, there are piquant edges, and it's loaded with fruity charms that jolt through the wine in a package that French Lofi / Soif drinkers will love. Can even get a petit chill.

Pepper, spice, some smoky raspberry tea and good chew. If it were Shiraz we'd say it helped inspire Les Murray’s poetry, but it’s Syrah, so let's just hope it inspires you to a great dinner or late lunch. Ferment was all whole bunch so expect some lacey acidity and earthy drive.

This is damn fine wine, so beware if you're opening it in a social setting, empty glasses seem magnetised to this bottle and before you know it you’ll be checking our hours and running to the nearest Blackhearts for another bottle.
